Good local Indo-Nepalese grocery store with a nice selection of groceries and quality products. They also have tea, coffee, and snacks. Friendly service and a convenient location. Glad to have them nearby!

What a wonderful addition to Grand Prairie! We’ve been waiting a long time for a grocery store like this, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The store is clean, well-organized, and has an amazing selection of Indian and Nepali groceries, spices, snacks, and other essentials. It’s so convenient to have everything we need so close to home. The customer service was exceptional. The gentleman at the entrance was warm, welcoming, and genuinely interested in listening to our suggestions for future products. That kind of care and commitment to the community is rare. This will definitely be our go-to grocery store, and we’ll be recommending it to our family and friends. Wishing the entire team tremendous success with your new store!

Himalayan Bazaar is a fresh started Nepali and South Asian grocery needs, and honestly it’s a convenient place to all of your daily grocery needs. The fresh vegetables are exactly what I look for. the kind of produce you just can’t find at the regular chain stores, and it’s always crisp and reasonably priced. They carry rare meat varieties too, which makes meal prep so much easier when you don’t have to run to three different places. What really sets them apart is the selection. Any masala, lentil, spice, or pantry staple you can name, they’ve got it. I never leave with an unchecked item on my list. On top of that, the staff are genuinely friendly and always happy to help you track something down or point you toward something new to try. If you’re in the Grand Prairie area and cook South Asian food at home, do yourself a favor and stop in. Supporting a local shop that takes this much care with quality and customer service is a win all around. Highly recommend!

So excited that this store has finally opened up in Grand Prairie! As someone who regularly shops for Nepali and Indian groceries, finding everything I need under one roof is such a treat. The store is spotlessly clean and beautifully organized, everything is easy to find and well-stocked. What really impressed me is the incredible variety: from aromatic spiced rice and hearty dal to a fantastic selection of snacks, fresh vegetables, and a surprisingly wide range of frozen veggies. They even carry desserts, which is a huge bonus! The prices are very competitive, comparable to or better than what you’d find online or at larger ethnic grocery chains. You truly get great value here. Whether you’re cooking a traditional Nepali dal bhat or an Indian curry from scratch, this store has you covered. It’s clear the owners put a lot of thought into curating a selection that feels both authentic and complete. Highly recommend to the entire South Asian community in the DFW area and beyond.
